JASON UPTON

Jason began writing music at eighteen, and at twenty-one recorded his first original recording. After an encounter with God, he and his wife Rachel began searching for something more just singing in churches, they wanted to make a long lasting impact on the communities where they were invited. During their time at Regent University, finishing their Master's of Divinity programs, they set up a worship room in their home.  It was during these intimate worship gatherings that they began to intertwine music with all forms of worship and prayer found in the Bible. They soon realized that the songs God was giving Jason were not simply songs but keys that would open and shut doors in the spirit realm. This culminated in a live worship recording entitled "Key of David."

Recorded live in various venues across America in 2007 and 2008, 1200 Feet Below Sea Level, the newest CD from Jason Upton, finds Jason expressing the heart of God for His people through song, instrumental spontaneity and spoken word...

BEAUTIFUL PEOPLEOver two different recording sessions in the Fall of 2006, Jason and the team flew to Charlotte, NC. In Charlotte, we captured the material that will be on "Beautiful People". This is a combination of songs and worship. It is a very broad and well-rounded recording.

"Open Up the Earth" is a collection of 2 track, off-the-board, mixed-on-site audio recordings. Then we've added a DVD (a first ever for Jason), which mirrors much of Disc 1 from Harrisburg, PA. Disc 2 is from Holland with certain other material added. We are not referring to this as a conventional "live" project. Rather, "Open Up the Earth" is a series of Holy Spirit-led messages and prayers, put to song, as caught on tape during these times of worship.

Trusting In Angels - Psalm 91 tells us that God is constantly sending His messengers (angels) to help "keep us in all His ways". Many of the lyrics on this CD speak of our relinquishing control and trusting.
